Biography
Victoria Jurecka is a filmmaker originally from Los Angeles, California, where she first developed her passion for storytelling and cinema. After spending her school years in Lima, Peru, she moved to Florida at 17 to pursue a career in film.
During her first semester at UCF's film school, Victoria was offered the opportunity to produce a feature film—an experience that sparked her love for producing and hands-on filmmaking.
Currently a student in the University of Central Florida’s BFA Film program, she has written and directed her debut short film, The Paradox, set to premiere at UCF’s Fall Showcase.
Victoria is currently in post production for her second film, Standstill, and is on track to graduate in 2026 with dual degrees.
Mission
Victoria's ultimate goal is to use her knowledge in screenwriting, editing, directing, and producing to help bring both her own and other independent stories to life with quality and care.
It is her dream to write and produce an award-winning feature film that resonates with audiences worldwide.

Was producer for UCF BFA Film Rosie Glass, which is set to premier at a film festival this year. Helped find locations for the film, managed budget, helped manage crew as the on-set producer.

Co-wrote, produced, and served as the 1st AD as well as script supervisor for a student film done for UCF’s Lights Camera Action film club. Casted actors and managed the shot list and schedule on set.

Was the 1st AD for the UCF MFA drama-documentary Red Flag Rising. Also took on the role of associate producer. Created call sheets, daily production reports, scouted locations, planned wardrobe,
managed the production schedule on set, interviewed crew and cast.
